F.A. turns up everywhere on this site before you're told what it stands for. Finn Astle on the invoices, Fearless Answers on the studio work, and no tidy way to pick just one thing for it to mean. Most days it's both at once.

The modern creative is hard to catch in a sentence because they refuse to be one thing. Copywriter, painter, occasional collagist of whatever's left in the gutter. Freedom needs a frame, expression needs strategy, so he picked both and called it a practice (mostly to justify the paint).

What's left after that is half shared and half expressed, the letters that never got sent, and a website that's mostly an experiment in polite disappearance.

Let this be a statement of my intention: a place to publish with impermanence in mind first, because the weight of free expression costs too much.

Some day this will be a place to see.
